Three original designs celebrating the Tour de France Grand Départ 2014 Stages 1-2 which took place in Yorkshire in 2014 – the first time the event had ever visited the UK. Design 1 is themed; Yorkshire Chain. Three stylised bicycle chain links combine to create the letter 'Y' of Yorkshire. Design 2 is themed; Yorkshire Framed. When looking at a map of the Stages 1& 2 Grand Départ route, all locations dropped neatly into a bike frame area. Whilst design 3 is themed; Yorkshire Rose. A number of bicycle graphics morph together to create the iconic Yorkshire White Rose emblem.
